Take Tenn Youth Training Programme
Take Tenn Youth Training Programme is an audio-visual training initiative that targets at-risk youths. The programme aims to develop competencies, skills, and provide first-hand experiences for ten young, aspiring local film practitioners from underprivileged communities throughout Trinidad and Tobago, via training and mentorship.
Trainees were selected to work as Production Assistants alongside seasoned filmmakers and department heads in most departments, on the feature film Danm.
As a multi-sectoral creative medium, film can provide many opportunities for both skilled and unskilled individuals. Training on film sets can open avenues for future careers, particularly for youths who may not have the resources to formally learn about filmmaking.
